Powerful Witch Doctor Healed and Saved
Acts 8:9-11 – “Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great, and all the people, both high and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed, “This man is rightly called the Great Power of God.” They followed him because he had amazed them for a long time with his sorcery. But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Simon himself believed and was baptized.”
This really happened in Rager Village, Kisumu County, Kenya in 2024.
Daktari-wa-Witch Morris’ power was known throughout the region of Lake Victoria. In the last 20 years he had sacrificed 5 wives and at least 8 of his own children plus many other people he bewitched. With every sacrifice his fame and power grew.or & Grace Kiogora
Meeting Morris
In July 2024, as soon as our NEEMA Bible College team arrived in Kisumu, we immediately started preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ. This is the time Morris showed up at the church. After preaching we prayed and the Holy Spirit told both Pastor George and I to pray for someone with a leg problem. No one responded to that Word of Knowledge, so we continued. Then as the people were leaving, we saw a man walking awkwardly on his toes. When we stopped him, he told us to follow him to his house. Later we were told that many of the villagers were scared that we would die because we were following a powerful witch doctor. But we had no idea that we were in danger. When we got inside his home, we prayed and Morris immediately begun walking normally. After that, Morris was eager to make Jesus Lord of his life. Morris told us that “The Angels” had appeared to Morris the night before and that morning ‘forced’ him to attend church. Before we left, Morris confessed that he had been serving the wrong gods. He then gathered up the witchcraft instruments and burnt them all. Now Morris eagerly introduces his former clients to Jesus Christ.

Gladys filled Many Books of Notes
Gladys Kirimi graduated from NEEMA/Meru this year. She had never been in school but her hunger for God’s Word gave her the courage to join. She was satisfied with just listening to the Word week after week.
However, one morning she came to class and instantly was able to read and write! In this same class was Dr. Paul Mutwiri M.D. who also filled many books with notes in the same class with Gladys. When I asked him why he was attending NEEMA, he said, “I can heal the body but I want to learn how to heal my patients’ hearts as well.”

Andrew Wommack Ministries opened in Nairobi, Kenya October 15, 2024. We sent both Dennis Mugambi – HEART OF GOD KENYA Director and Victor Kiogora – NEEMA/Coastal Director to the opening.
Thousands of Kenyans are still under religious bondage and we welcome AWMI. They will reach many people that NEEMA won’t reach. And NEEMA will continue going into areas of Kenya that AWM Kenya.
Heart of God/NEEMA Bible College continues to expand because the people are looking for hope. Inflation is extreme! Corruption seeps down into every corner of life. As you give, you are bringing Jesus to desert places, satanic strongholds, and sexually invested towns. Because of your gifts, God’s love is spreading everywhere.
Leaving a Legacy
We Americans live in a land of opportunity and prosperity. No, I’m not blind. These United States are not like they were in the 50’s when I grew up. But we can still go and do basically anything we want to do. We are still free BUT there are many that would take our rights and freedoms away. The enemy voices are loud and strong.
As a grandmother I want my grandchildren to have the right to speak their minds and follow their hearts. Today we ask ourselves, what can we do?
We can PRAY.
We can UNITE.
We can VOTE for Life.
