It’s a BLOWOUT
JESUS DID IT HE SAVED OUR LIVES!!
From Bob Dennis / NEEMA Teacher / Coastal Region – May 28th
We were travelling home from Mpeketoni NEEMA classes, on a dry, clean road, and the bus was going at its highest speed. When the front tyre of our bus suddenly burst and the driver lost control.
Screams and wailing filled the bus! But I declared, “Lord Jesus you’re in control and we’re safe!!!”
The bus graciously stopped. We stopped right on the road which was another miracle because on the side was a deep ditch. Thank God no one was hurt.

Protus Nyongesa was in and out of the hospital all the time while he was in high school. Medical science hadn’t helped so after he graduated, his mother took him to the witch-doctors looking for answers, but they couldn’t help him either. He had problems with his speech as well as other physical difficulties. Protus’ papa finally officially announced that he was giving up on him and was going to focus on his other sons and daughters. This broke Protus’ heart and he ran away from home to Kitali to look for his auntie. But he couldn’t find her and he ended up sleeping outside on the street.
Finally, after many days, he found his auntie who gave him a place to stay. During this time, Protus turned away from God. He wanted nothing to do with the god of his family if his family wanted nothing to do with him. Nevertheless, Protus wanted to help his auntie so he did any kind of job he could find.
He found a job on a farm and moved to the village of Bikeke. Life was getting better and started attending church again. Through Pastor Emmanuel, he discovered God’s amazing love and grace. Pastor Ellijah encouraged Protus to enroll in NEEMA Bible College where Pastor Emmanuel teaches. At Bible college his faith begun to grow. He not only was healed, but his life totally changed. His thoughts became more positive and eventually he found hope.
Soon Protus got the reputation for being a good worker and he got better and better jobs. Consequently, he was promoted to manager of a large shamba (farm) .He was given free housing with a portion of land where he could grow vegetables and rears chicken (something he always wanted to do). And now, through God’s grace, he has reconnected with his family.

Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit (Philippians 1:27).
With great joy Mike and I read the testimonies from our NEEMA teachers of lives being changed by The Word of God. That’s what it’s all about. Yes, we would love to be there especially now, as a group of 12 Bible college students from Belize- south of Mexico are there. We have great confidence that Dennis and our staff are giving them the adventure of a lifetime-but we wanted to be there too. Health concerns of Pat are delaying our coming, but we will be in Kenya as soon as possible.
Thanks to YOU many lives are being transformed. Presently 40% of our NEEMA Bible College students are already pastors. They are hearing the Gospel of Grace for the first time and sharing this good news with their congregations.

Johnson Charo Kambi is a student at Neema Malindi class. He was from a Muslim family and brought up as a strict Muslim. Even after he got born again, he still felt unfulfilled purpose in his life. He eventually became a pastor but only moved by the waves of what other pastors do or preach. He still felt always dry and empty most of the time.
Since he joined Neema Bible College, he’s always full of the Word, fulfilled and enthusiastic. He says,” I used to feed my members with dry bones, now they are enjoying steak meat and even their faces are glowing.
They’ve become so healthy and jovial in church. They are freed from the bondage of wrong doctrines. Neema has opened my eyes to the truth in the scriptures. My congregation is being healed and delivered by the truth in the of the Word.
JESUS RECEIVES THE GLORY!!!
From Emmanuel / NEEMA Teacher / Western Region – March 30th
In February God healed the daughter of our neighbor. Their daughter was diagnosed with diabetes while she was in grade 4. She was not able to go to school because she was giving injections to herself 3 times a day. Her mother told us that they were not sleeping well at night because of the pain she was in.
As we taught them about the healing that Jesus paid for on the cross, this young girl was writing every scripture. Now the girl is okay and is attending school again. And they are all sleeping peacefully now.
God is confirming His Word in many ways here in Kenya. Papa and Mama and friends, know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
